Seven games remaining and Manchester have an eleven-point lead at the top of the Premier League after a 4-2 home win over Wolverhampton Town. Second-placed Liverpool United could only manage a 1-1 draw at Sunderland City.

League 1 leaders Edgbaston have a crucial game next. They travel to third placed Coventry United, who are currently three points behind the Birmingham club.

Dublin are still in control at the top of the Gaelic League. Besides having played a game less they still have a four-point lead over second-placed Wanderers.
